Mr. Edwards began his tenure as principal of Central Middle School in 2020.He formerly served as the principal of Roopville Elementary and assistant principal at Central High and Villa Rica High. Prior to entering administration Mr. Edwards taught special education at Central High for ten years. He also served as a football, baseball, and softball coach while teaching at CHS.
Mr. Edwards was a Roopville Hornet from 2nd through 8th grade and graduated from Central High School in 1997. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of West Georgia, his masters in educational leadership from Jacksonville State University, and his specialist degree in educational leadership from Lincoln Memorial University.
Mr. Edwards is married to Allison Edwards, who is an ELA teacher at Central High school. They have two children, Allie Grace and Beau.
