Presently in my twentieth-third year in education and my eighth year at Central Middle, I am firmly committed to supporting students by helping them meet their educational goals. I consider myself so fortunate to teach at Central Middle School. I believe we have the greatest students on the planet and the most amazing teachers! Central Middle is truly a special place, like no other!
Though I consider Central Middle School my home, I began my professional teaching career at Carrollton High School where I worked as a Special Education Teacher. I was employed there for five years before transferring to Carrollton Junior High School where I was the In School Coordinator for Special Education for ten years. Prior to teaching, I was employed for three years at the DHR-Vocational Rehabilitation Services as a Vocational Counselor.
I reside in Carroll County on our family farm and am married to Joey Sharp. We have one child, Shirley, who is a junior at Berry College.
